Those who love sports don’t hide their passion—and baseball is no exception. We realized fans enjoy sharing their baseball knowledge while proving their devotion to the sport, so we based our approach off that insight.
Using Copa Airlines’ partnership with MLB, we created insightful social content that led users to a microsite. Through strategic planning, informed concepting and inviting design, that microsite enticed users to register and play for a chance to win a World Series trip for them and their baseball buddies.
Connecting Copa consumers to an exclusive sports journey allowed them to enjoy an unforgettable World Series experience. This provided a useful and entertaining means of promotion. Our leads goal was doubled and because of low CPCs and CPMs, the campaign produced a higher volume of clicks and impressions than expected. We consider this a homerun.
